Retired AIG Abutu Yaro Congratulates Kogi at 34

As Kogi State marks its 34th anniversary, retired Assistant Inspector General of Police, AIG Abutu Yaro, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to the people and government of the state.

In a statement, Yaro celebrated the state’s 34 years of “peace, progress, and prosperity,” acknowledging that while significant challenges persist, the state has achieved “momentous milestones.”

Part of statement read:

“This anniversary elevates hopes of greater collaboration and shared prosperity as well as inclusive collaboration with all our leaders . Urging the citizenry to collaborate with the government and encouraging our Governor Usman Ododo to maintain the momentum .

The AIG emeritus expressed optimism for the future, stating that the anniversary elevates hopes for “greater collaboration and shared prosperity,” as well as “inclusive collaboration with all our leaders.”

He urged the citizens of Kogi to work closely with the state government and encouraged Governor Usman Ododo to “maintain the momentum. Congratulations to Kogi State at 34,” the statement concluded.
