The member representing Idah, Ibaji, Igalamela and Ofu Federal Constituency in the green chambers, Honourable David Idris Zacharias has showered encomium and commendation on his colleagues for electing Honourable Femi Gbajabiamila as the Speaker of the House of Representatives in the present 9th Assembly.
Zacharias made this known while playing host to a group of supporters, led by Yahaya Wada, at his country home on Saturday.
The rep member took a retrospective view of the contributions made by the new Speaker since his entrance into the Federal House of Representatives in 2003. He made it clear that the experience of Hon. Gbajabiamila in the green chambers is second to none as far as the present 9th assembly is concerned. Gbajabiamila, who was first elected into the Federal House of Representatives in 2003, has held prominent positions among which were minority and majority leader.
Zacharias thanked the Governor of Kogi state, Alhaji Yahaya Bello for his steadfastness and service to people of Kogi State.
In his own remarks, the leader of the delegation, Comrade Yahaya Wada used the opportunity to congratulate Hon. Davido for his successful inauguration as a member of the Federal House of Representatives.
He also used the avenue to appreciate him for his selfless humanitarian activities towards the less privileged people in his constituency and beyond.
