Hon. Tijani Ahmed Ozigi, the Federal House of Representatives member representing Okene/Ogori-Magongo Federal Constituency, has expressed deep sympathy over the tragic accident involving students of the Federal University Lokoja (FUL), which claimed the lives of some innocent students.
In a heartfelt statement, Hon. Ozigi extended his condolences to the bereaved families, the entire student body, and the management of FUL. He also sympathized with the host community of Felele and the Kogi State Government over the unfortunate incident.
“As I call on the authorities to brainstorm and find a lasting solution to avoid future occurrences, I pledge that I will give all the necessary support by making sure we achieve this together, and of course, continue to protect the rights and lives of our students and that of the common man in society,” he assured.
Hon. Ozigi emphasized the need for urgent intervention to prevent such tragedies in the future and reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring the safety and welfare of students and citizens at large.
