The member representing Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu in the House of Representatives, Hon. Tajudeen Ayo Yusuf has paid for Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) examination for over one hundred students in the constituency.
The beneficiaries were drawn from all the thirty (30) wards and students unions and associations in the constituency.
While briefing newsmen on the development, the Federal lawmaker said the gesture was aimed at mentoring the younger generation to an enviable height.
Hon. Yusuf who has numerous people’s oriented bills sponsored, maintained that he has the desire to raise more medical doctors, engineers, bankers, business mogul, pilots entrepreneurs, politicians, vice chancellors, lawyers, journalists of Kogi State extraction.
The federal lawmaker disclosed further that the total JAMB forms support he gave to his constituents was in line with the patriotic leadership he has been displaying for many years back as a way of providing succour to the less – privileged in the quest for quality education for their children.
However, it was also noted that as a politician who believes in the educational development and grass root outreach, the Federal lawmaker also considered constituent who requested to be beneficiaries of the free JAMB forms through text messages, visits and phone calls to him.
