Hon. Sanni Egidi Abdulraheem, the House of Representatives member for Ajaokuta Federal Constituency, has inaugurated the members of his Continuous Voter Registration Committee for the Kogi Central Senatorial District.
This committee was formed under the guidance of Dr. Abdullahi Bello, the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi State, with Hon. SEA appointed as the chairman.
Following the inauguration, the committee chairman officially welcomed the members and entered a closed-door session to discuss strategies and plans aimed at ensuring a successful voter registration process in the Kogi Central Senatorial District.
Speaking to the press after the meeting, Hon. Sanni Egidi Abdulraheem outlined the core objectives of the committee: “Our primary goal is to ensure a robust and effective continuous voter registration exercise that encourages active citizenship and participation in our democratic process,” he stated.
The committee resolved to work closely with local government chairmen who are also members of the committee and to engage stakeholders across the 57 wards of Ajaokuta, Adavi, Okene, Okehi, and Ogori local government areas that constitute the Kogi Central District.
The Ajaokuta Federal lawmaker assured that the committee will embark on an extensive sensitization campaign to mobilize eligible voters and foster comprehensive outreach for the success of the exercise across the district. “This move will bolster democratic participation in our district,” he added.
