Rep Salman Hails Gov Ododo’s N8b Projects at Kabba University, Student Bursary

Member representing Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Salman Idris, has applauded Governor Usman Ododo for the massive infrastructure development in his constituency, especially at Kogi State University, Kabba.

The governor’s recent approval of N8 billion for construction projects, including a senate building, faculty of science, as well as male and female hostels, has earned him praise from Hon. Idris.

In a statement on Saturday, the federal lawmaker also commended the governor for his commitment to student welfare, particularly the approval of N316 million for bursary allocation to 8,750 students in the first phase and N300,000 each for 201 law students, totaling N60.3 million.

“This gesture demonstrates the governor’s dedication to education and the well-being of Kogi State citizens as it will take a lot of pressure off parents shoulder at this challenging period.

“The development at Kogi State University, Kabba, is a testament to Governor Ododo’s commitment to education and his vision for a brighter future for Kogi State youth.

“In just 10 months, Governor Ododo has surpassed our expectations by turning the entire state into a construction site. You can see smiles on the faces of Kogites everywhere,” Hon. Salman added.

He called on Kogites, especially the people of Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency, to continue to support the administration of Governor Ododo who is poised to set Kogi state on the path of greatness.
