Member representing Adavi/Okehi Federal constituency of Kogi State in the House of Representatives, Hon. Abdulmaleek Abdulraheem Danga, has appealed to security agencies to sustain their efforts until the remaining students of Confluence University of Science and Technology (CUSTECH) Osara, who are in captivity, are released and brought home safely.
The lawmaker made the appeal when he visited Prof. Abdulrahman Asipita Salawu, the
Vice Chancellor of CUSTECH in Osara.
He told the Vice Chancellor that himself and his entourage came to solidarize with him on the ugly incident that happened in the institution.
The rep member commended Governor Usman Ododo, the Vice Chancellor and his management team as well as the security agencies for their proactiveness which led to the rescue of some of the abducted students.
He promised to work hand in hand with the Vice Chancellor to see that the institution is ranked among the best in the country.
The VC, while responding on behalf of himself and the CUSTECH management, appreciated the House of Representatives member and his entourage for the solidarity visit and for the advice and promise to do all within his reach to see that going forward the school will be more secured and very conducive for learning.
