Hon. Salman Idris, the member representing Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency, has launched a significant initiative to enhance electricity supply in the region. The project involves the installation of six brand new transformers and the repair of faulty ones, aiming to boost electricity supply and alleviate power outages.
In a statement by his media office of Monday, the lawmaker believes the development will bring relief to residents and businesses in the constituency, who have long faced challenges with unreliable electricity supply.
“The new transformers will increase the capacity for power distribution, while the repairs will ensure that existing infrastructure is functioning optimally,” the statement read.
Hon. Idris reiterated his commitment to improving the lives of his constituents through continued efforts to empower women, youth, and widows in the community.
The electricity boost is anticipated to have a positive impact on economic activities, healthcare, education, and overall quality of life in Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency.
