On Friday November 15, 2024, an intensive ICT training program, facilitated by the Chairman Federal House of Representatives Committee on Finance, Rt. Hon. (Dr.) James Abiodun Faleke, took place at the Cathedral Church Hall in Kabba, Kogi State.
The event attracted over 100 youths from various districts and wards of the Local Government, focusing on enhancing their skills in information and communication technology.
The training sessions were led by expert lecturers who emphasized critical aspects of business management, particularly strategies for maximizing profits and effective planning in professional endeavors.
Their insights highlighted the essential role that proficiency in ICT plays in the success of business ventures in today’s digital age.
Participants were encouraged to engage actively throughout the sessions, fostering an interactive environment that allowed them to ask questions and clarify concepts.
This collaborative atmosphere ensured that attendees not only gained knowledge but also had the opportunity to share ideas and insights with one another.
Attendance was meticulously documented, with all participants signing an attendance list twice, underscoring the organizers’ commitment to accuracy and accountability.
In a significant gesture to equip the youths for future success, each participant received a brand new laptop at the conclusion of the program.
They were advised to retain these devices for personal growth and development, as they represent valuable resources that can facilitate further learning and digital engagement.
