I read with bewildered amusement, the cooked, manufactured falsehood and concocted story of a presumed face-off between the Administrator of Ijumu local government area and Chairman of ALGON, Kogi state chapter, Alh. Taufiq Isa and the military published in the social/online media.
I would not have bothered to debunk this sponsored lies from the pit of hell and a premeditated attack on the person and character of our amiable chairman, which intentions are evil.
A cursory look at the publication shows bad motives for the report. The report is meant to malign, insult, blackmail, disorganise, cause confusion and crises of confidence between the chairman’s friends in the military and himself. For all intents and purposes, this is highly repressive and must be condemned by all.
Alhaji Taufiq Isa is a man  with an outstanding pedigree and strength of character being blackmailed, insulted and his character assassinated in this infantile social media because he can’t be corrupted. Secondly, the disparaging, insulting, and portraying of our distinguished chairman in bad light is insinuative of undertones and underhands to discredit a man whose heart is as clean as white.
I therefore state categorically, taking into consideration that the attack, character assassination, insult and castigations are to be condemned in totality for all intents and purposes.
Those behind the publication (the so called “sources”) should desist from bad politicking as the chairman relates fine with the security agencies, posted to their duty post in Ijumu and never had any soiled relationship with any of them.
All hands must be on deck to unify, galvanise and mobilise ourselves if we want to move forward as one united Okun people. Let’s stop these frictions which may create irreconcilable differences, let’s not play into the hands of the opposition.
Enough of this political witch hunting and blackmail, enough is enough.
