Let me clear the air; The writer of the piece bearing the above heading should not personalize this rejoinder. For your write up is borborygmus and typical of fifth columnists who write without facts. Please do ensure you are in possession of a well researched fact before putting pen on paper.

However, this rejoinder is sine-qua-non owing to the numerous circumstances which seems to have prompted the write up. Without mincing words, Dr Victor Alewo Adoji (DVAA) and family (supporters) have stepped up beyond this smooth lies sponsored by those who believed his political mandate is their worst nightmare. We do not see other contestants as rivals. But as brothers and friends in the same struggle.

No doubt, this stance alone has given the convener an edge over every other contestants. Besides, the DVAA movement is known for its groundbreaking achievement in terms of socioeconomic impact with regards to the ongoing campaign and what is embedded in the mantra. Therefore, factuality is the indelible fact that thousands of youths have been lucratively engaged and taken off the street where other politicians come to pick them as merchants of vices. And like the Buchi Emecheta’s Joys of Motherhood, Dr Victor Adoji’s fulfillment is in the emancipation of the society at large, and not the kleptocracy or political gimmickry plunging Igala/Bassa to abyss.

It’s also a known fact that Dr Victor Alewo Adoji is a silent achiever, and his achievement spree the space may not be enough to mention. So, if all aspirations is about the betterment of our senatorial zone, DVAA’s innovative movement should be embraced by all and sundry instead of compounding the already hostile political hemisphere.

Back to the central thrust of this article. You see, the manner in which envy and selfishness drives some people is laughable. Our willingness to accept our fate in certain ways is always outweighed by greed and inconsequential human conceits.

First, the said statement resonated on the Facebook page of an APC e-kid. And of course, those enjoying some crumbs from the state government confers munged with it. And the uninformed writer took up his pen to write. And gradually, the good people who sees a better Kogi East as a no alternative non are getting misinformed.

Luckily, I ran into the purported copy of the letter bearing Kogi East elders’ denial that it has endorsed Dr Victor Adoji. Fellow Kogi Easterners, I urge you all to be attentive here and pass your judgement thereafter; When the news broke that the sub committee of Kogi East elders forum has recommended Dr Victor Alewo Adoji for adoption as Kogi East senatorial candidate comes 2019, every information that was disseminated was backed up by a categorical statements. Ranging from the constitutional mandate of the sub committee as conferred by the forum to the statement credited to the Chairman of the sociopolitical group, Chief J S Odawn and the secretary.

More credibly, the aftermath statement issued and signed by the aforementioned personalities was contained in a letter-headed paper of the group as a standard socio-political organization. Now, fellow Kogi Easterners, a stint comparison between the statement affirming Adoji as the elders’ adopted candidate and the purportedly signed denial by the general secretary will confirm some masterminded actions of agent of political malpractices and mischief.

While its still baffling that the general secretary could address the public on such weighty issues without recourse to the executive chairman, the said letter was typed, sent to someone via mail and printed on ordinary A4 paper which in all ramifications, is degradable of such sensitive group.

Barely 48 hours after Adoji was unanimously endorsed, Chief Aurelius Yusuf Adejoh, an APC stalwart and member of the Elders council endorsed Echocho. And now, this is coming from his camp again.

Fellow Kogi Easterners, it would be disrespectful questioning the audacity of Chief Adejoh especially when its obvious that the elders had wonderfully played their roles. But let it be registered in the mind that some people are out to destroy the better Kogi East we all quest for. The essence of good governance we are trying to install will be constricted if they are not called to order. As a matter of fact, they have reformed as progressive minds preaching good governance that is in a nutshell, subject to their own interpretation. They are merchandise of betrayals, cacum of demonic antics with mundane premonitions to hold the entire Kogi East to ransom.

I have mostly expected the aspirants to counter the allegations that they were informed of the interactions. But thanks to the almighty God, there was nothing of such. Rather, its the usual shenanigan from the pretender democrats.

Dr Victor Adoji’s political abode is clean. His social history is untainted. His aspirations is not birthed by the necessity for continuity of some tyrannic politicians, but a burden to liberate Kogi East from the shackles of poverty. Between godfatherism, sycophancy, loyalty and the essence of good governance stood DVAA movement to champion the cause of humanity. And when the battle is won and the much dreamed Kogi East becomes a reality, I shall wait to hear how this evil doers will justify their inaction.

For now, let me assure our brothers who have refused to move on because the news of Adoji’s endorsement caught them unaware, which ever part that is transparent, that Adoji will honor. We have asked them to write His Royal Highness expressing their dissatisfaction. And if the need be, an open debate where every aspirants will prove themselves is very necessary.

Be that as it may, Fellow Kogi Easterners, its pertinent to note that the brand in which APC’s e-kids patronizes before us is a representative of few individuals vying to remain in power at all cost. He has no motivational objective for the senatorial post other than to be there and pave way for his sponsors. A close look at their campaign says it all. He is very silent, not taking into cognizance the necessity of convincing the people.

Contrary to what other aspirants do to win the heart of the electorates, he only supervises where politically deceitful project is ongoing. He was in Ajaokuta steel complex recently only to exhibit his usual incompetence; revamping Ajaokuta steel is not a one man show. This statement is only fond of those without political will. We all know developmental process is gradual, but it comes with individual commitment.

It might also interest you to know that the said aspirant has been called upon severally by Nigeria’s anti graft agency for interrogation but, he is been shielded by political godfathers. Now, my question is; Of what importance is the struggles to wrestle power from the notorious mandate snatcher when we know it will be given to someone whose character, moral and political standing is pernicious?

DVAA’s family is an advocate of due process. We frown vehemently at political gimmicks and other acts inimical to our progress. We believe in effective recalibration of Kogi East. We believe the grass-root are the chief pioneers of these project. And we will stop at nothing to ensure that Igala/Bassa reclaim their lost legislative glory.

Therefore, the endorsement of Dr Victor Alewo Adoji as Kogi East senatorial candidate comes 2019 is self evident, both in merit and privilege. We want use these medium to advise other contestants to shun an act of character assassinations as embolden in the propagated lies as a better Kogi East remains the top priority.

Kogi East will be great again.
