When some writers are subjective in their submission, it will be very difficult to arrive at an objective decision of getting it right their position on issues that boarders on national interest or the interest of a particular representation particularly on the argument for or against Kogi East Senator, Atai Aidoko Ali to continue at the senate in the next dispensation.
For the avoidance of any doubt and further clarifications, Senator Aidoko won elections twice as member of the House of Representatives from 2003/2007 and 2007/2011 without any doubt and convincingly to the glory of God. The records are still there for public scrutiny.
Although, in every contest, the opponent or aggrieved ones reserved the right to seek redress and judicial interpretation before the court of law which is normal and the best practices. I don’t know where the writer derives the theory of the distinguished senator getting judgment for an election already won twice to represent the Ankpa/Omala/Olamaboro federal constituency in the two contending tenures. We need to put the records straight.
Again, Kogi East Senator, Atai Aidoko Ali rolled out the drums and fun fare to extend its representation of the entire Igala race in the 2011/2015 and 2015 till date under a serious competitive atmosphere that deserved judicial pronouncements and interpretations. As a trained lawmaker and people’s representative, as the court saw the good reasons to upturn the earlier verdict that brought his opponents to the red chamber, which was not applicable to him alone, I wonder what was his undoing and the writers convictions.
The idea of taking a bow and go and on the other way round, take a bow and continue does not even arise here. Even at a collective decision that may not be tenable. It is unheard of when races, sections, areas and federal constituencies are searching while some are proud of their representations who appeared at both the upper and lower chambers as ranking members privileged to lead committees and form part of the principal officers. The people of Igala race, of course some insignificant sections are at the forefront of a clamour for the current senator to take a bow. I think for the benefit of doubt and to the credit of the writer, it was a misconstrued and misplaced heading and write up. I am very sure and convinced the impression he wanted to sell out to Kogi East public was to take a bow and continue but along the line was overtaken by selfish and self centered tendencies.
For the avoidance of doubt, the race to the National Assembly as Kogi East Senator is still much fresh in the minds of majority of the people of the area as senator Atai Aidoko Ali is also a strong contender to the next PDP primaries either fixed for September or any other date.
It is now left for the above writer to go all out all out and perfect the homework of other contenders he is supporting for the race to the Kogi East senate representation rather than misinforming the public, supporters and sympathizes of Kogi east senator.
It is highly distractive and unheard of for some sadists within the eastern part of Kogi state to reject an asset of the caliber of Senator Atai Aidoko Ali when other parts of the country have long embraced and move forward from such trend.
