Sequel to the former House of Representatives member and Executive Secretary, Anti-Corruption Network, Hon. Daniel Dino Melaye’s recent interview where he described Senator Smart Adeyemi as being TOO small for him to front for.
In this very write-up, I hereby bring to you some facts about the said interview, Daniel Dino Melaye, Distinguished Senator Smart Adeyemi and also to allow you the readers to compare and contrast.
Dino Melaye’s statements reads; he (Dino) stated emphatically that Smart Adeyemi is too small for him to front for. ”I cannot front for even Goodluck Ebele Azikwe Jonathan, talk less of Smart Adeyemi. I am better equipped academically, intellectually, socially and exposure wise than Smart Adeyemi. So why would I front for him. What has Smart Adeyemi got, that I haven’t. What can Smart Adeyemi give, that I don’t have. So, I want to say that it is propaganda from the pit of hell and will not see the light of the day. I repeat that Smart Adeyemi is too small for me to front for”
Dino Melaye’s said interview recently brings back my mind to the year 2007 when he (Dino Melaye) was seen as political orphan and/or stranger in our political landscape and/or society because of his rudeness and unpopular.
Daniel Dino is a political child of circumstance as far as I’m concerned base on his political pedigree and antecedent and that
circumstantial gave him (Dino Melaye) the opportunity to represents the good people of Kabba-Bunu / Ijumu Federal Constituency, Kogi State in the lower chamber of the National Assembly between the year 2007-2011 ( although no single hallmark achievement to show for that).
Daniel Dino Melaye has no good political track record and/or achievement till 2007 when we (People’s Democratic Party) made him.
He (Dino) was known and addressed to be former Military Governor of Lagos State, Muhammed Buba Marwa’s errand boy before he emerges as member of the House of Representatives.
Dino’s claims in the said interview are falsehood, untrue, crude, contradict and barbaric and should be treated as such.
While Senator Smart Adeyemi on the other hand is a very popular, gentle, vibrant, articulate, well-trained fellow, career journalist,
eight (8) years National President of Nigeria Union of Journalist (NUJ), two-term serving Senator for the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
However, I challenge Daniel Dino Melaye to come out boldly to answer the following questions for public consumption viz why that you supported the former Speaker, Federal House of Representatives, Hon. Patricia Olubunmi Etteh during her impeachment saga, how and why do you think you can represent the good people of Kogi West Senatorial District in the Senate when you’ve betray their trust in the past, what resulted to your defection from the ruling People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to the opposition All Progressives Congress (APC) and your political misfortune till date?
