A Self Delude Tantrums
If the political development of the Igala/Bassa race was built on political castigation to achieve cheap political points, I think by today, a lot of development achieved over the years both at the state and federal level wouldn’t have been achievable with particular reference to senatorial representation overtime.
Kogi East has had the opportunity of people with proven integrity, developmental zeal and people’s welfare at heart in the course of their representation of the eastern senatorial district ,as the most glaring and well fulfilled period of the current senator representing the area as top on the list of achievers in the area of infrastructural development, human advancement and economic emancipation of his people through mass strategic development plans to take the area to another level.
I have pondered extensively and could not come to terms, who amongst all the former Kogi east representatives including the current Senator Atai Aidoko Ali of ranking status, is the opposite of the self seeking writer who had refused to see beyond his nose of assessing both past and present handlers on the premise of his desire to pave way to run down past and present occupant, to the advantage of his inordinate ambition.
Let me not engage my self in monotonous representation of facts of the status and personality of the current senator representing Kogi East, Atai Aidoko Ali as his credentials at the current level is enough to return him to the senate in the next dispensation just by the mere facts of his achievements and portfolio.
In Senator Atai Aidoko Ali, Kogi East can be rest assured of principal leadership in the senate to the glory of God, all and sundry by virtue of his ranking status. Be it the senate president, senate leader, senate deputy president as the case may be, rather than gambling with any new comer who will not have the political will to further showcase the interest of the area rather than to concur and disconcur with personal interest glaring at all his actions.
The idea of running past leaders and misrepresenting their hard earned achievements to the generality of the people and to the detriment of others/and advantage of his self seeking ambition lives much to be desired basically for not conforming with the best practices or as the case may be.
There is no doubt about the tested and trusted efficacy of senator Atai Aidoko Ali who is billed to return to the senate from Kogi east, to continue in his quest to improve the living standard of the people of the area and make laws that will protect and preserve the rights of individual in the society and the entire people at large.
In the current senator,we have seen the growth of the party PDP, individuals and groups, social proliferation/economic emancipation and development both in the immediate communities, Kogi east and the society at large both directly and indirectly for societal benefits.
Presently, the current senator has provided over 21 boreholes as well as over 30 transformers spread across the Kogi eastern senatorial district including special intervention including renovation, repairs, rehabilitation and facilitation of social safety assets to ensure development is brought nearer to the people.
So therefore, it is laughable, unique and curious for the continuous write up capable of running down the senator representing Kogi east, Atai Aidoko Ali rather than concentrate on the strategies that may advance the party or the progress of members of the party, individuals and the interest of all contestants protected to achieve a collective efforts meant to translate into general acceptance of the ideals and ideas of the party platform, the PDP.
In the current senator, we have realized all the impending qualities and achievements meant to advance the generality of the people, so the singular idea of maneuvering words to soothe the whims and caprices of the writer will not translate to the mass provision of projects, representation and programs that will transform the lives of our people.
