Ordinarily, we wouldn’t have dignified the shameless and unbridled insolence with a response, but posterity would judge us wrongly if we do not clear the air of the impulsive misinformation being peddled by one Kingsley Mokikan.
Let me quickly call the attention of the general public to the above contrived falsehood.
It has come to our notice that one faceless Andrew Ibitoye on behalf on an unknown Kogi West Concerned Youth linked Chief Ariyo Adebayo in the false assassination attempt of Kingsley Mokikan. For clarity sake and to avoid such falsehood from misleading the public, We need to respond with facts.
Ariyo only visited his community to exercise his legal rights by voting for his preferred candidates like others. The fear of the unknown shouldnt make any feeble-minded individual result to aspersion casting. If anyone had seen military personnel during the last postponed election, they must have been on surveillance and has no link with Ariyo Adebayo who is neither a police nor a soldier.
Fake security operatives are not known to be operational in Kogi state. We’ll as a matter of urgency submit petition to the appropriate quarters as your allegation could possibly be an attempt to launch such. We’ll equally resist vehemently any act of libel and blackmail.
It’s very clear to all that Mr Adebayo Ariyo is a known man of peace that never gives to violence of any kind. The false allegation of assassination linked to him is born out of frustrations that Adebayo Ariyo has successfully turned the table around by giving back to his people, even the most vulnerables, what the elderly politicians has failed to do for the past 16 years of misrule.
Remember, during PDP inept administration which Mr Kingsley was actively involved, what development was witnessed by his community (aside contract scam). Ariyo is a man who has impacted lives beyond expectations, so no way for you to sell sophism or throw tantrums on his personality.
We are taking it up from here legally and anyone involved in this malicious and innuendo act will face the law. This is a campaign of calumny after suffering from Political paraplegia.
In totality, we excoriate the insinuations and remain focused and determined never to yield to any unscrupulous, disgruntled and mentally demented individuals and groups.
No one is planning to kidnap or confine you. (Of what use will that be). We strongly believe this another orchestrated way of cashing out on unsuspecting individual usual.
Your attempt to ridicule the youth friendly leader, Aare, is an effort in futility. This man has storms nooks and crannies of Kiri land uniting the people and providing succour to communities as well as individuals and I can tell you authoritatively that this has caused serious damage to the opposition.
The emergence of Mr Adebayo Ariyo has induced unbearable pains in their camp and what is left is to show their frustrations. Don’t let his community acceptance and continuous political growth make you feel intimidated to the point of resulting to cheap blackmail.
No amount of mudslinging, mischief or blackmail can deter or discredit the stainless reputation of Mr Adebayo Ariyo (aka Aare).
Investigation is ongoing, the initiator of this nefarious and fallacious act of vilification must be brought to book on character defamation charges. Politics demands decorum and high level of self control.
