Informed by the various calls from not only my well wishers but those of our positive and well focused like-minds on the news making the rounds of the announced appointment of one “Hon” Abdullahi Bello as SSA Political by Gov Yahaya Bello of Kogi State.
I need to put the records straight that both the appointment and the appointee in question have nothing to do with me as being touted in the social media despite the semblance of the name (s). It is locally, stately and nationally known and acknowledged that I am and I remain Rt. HON ABDULLAHI BELLO, two times Member and Hon Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly. Briefly Acted as Gov in Kogi State in 2012, and elected into the 8th NASS during the 2015 general election until a corrupt judicial decision removed me from office.
So, I must and should not be misconstrued as the beneficiary or the appointee of the said announcement by the Kogi state government. While congratulating the appointees, the public should take note of this in good faith.
