A foremost aspirant for Kogi Central Senatorial District, Mallam Haruna Yusuf has called on Muslims in Nigeria especially his would-be constituents to deepen their prayers for their leaders in order to attain the country of their collective dream.
Mallam Yusuf in his message to the noted that Ramadan season is a period of restitution when sincere supplications to Almighty Allah are ever potent to solve societal challenges.
Haruna Yusuf whose philanthropic gesture to the less privileged, women, students and community development services across the five local government areas of the zone was reputed to be unprecedented and had been a source of succour to people for more than a decade.
He assured the people of Kogi Central of his desire to liase with relevant authorities to ensure that the much-talked-about revival of Ajaokuta Steel Company becomes realisable if given the mandate.
“The time for decisive action on Ajaokuta steel has come. Our youths cannot be wallowing in the messy situation of unemployment when we are sitting on goldmine in Kogi State. We have a duty to collectively rise against lip service on the revival of the steel company for the generation yet unborn”, he said.
He concluded by commending the state Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello for his patriotic steps and collaboration to the resuscitation of Ajaokuta steel since the inception of the New Direction administration in the state.
He called on the good people of Kogi State to remain supportive of Governor Bello’s administration in his quest to set the state on the path of sustainable socio-economic development.
