A Federal Commissioner at the Revenue Mobilisation, Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC), Hon. Abdulazeez Idris King has commenced distribution of food items to members of his constituency as support for the ongoing Ramadan fast.
Idris King, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and former House of Representatives member who represented Okene/Ogori-Magongo federal constituency thanked the electorate for their support during the just concluded general elections.
Presenting the items, Hon. Idris King urge constituents to continue in their support for the present administration of Governor Yahaya Bello whom he said has brought positive development to Kogi state.
“As a former National Assembly member, I have been doing my best to put smiles on the faces of our people and also making efforts to improve the standard of living of my constituents despite some of the few challenges I encountered since I left office,” he said.
Hon Idris King recalled that some times last year, he was able to offset JAMB examination fees for over a hundred students as part of his efforts to assist the less privilege in the society.
The federal revenue Commissioner appreciated the electorates for their support and understanding with the ruling APC-led government.
Parts of the food items distributed included cartons of milk and sugar amongst others.
