Ramadan: Halims Congratulate Muslim Faithfuls, Calls For Prayers Against COVID-19

Member representing Ankpa Federal Constituency at the Federal House of Representatives, Hon Abdullahi Ibrahim Ali (Halims) has a congratulated Muslims in Ankpa, Omala and Olamaboro federal constituency for been alive to witness this year’s Ramadan fast

He urged all to offer special prayers during the Ramadan period in view of total healing and global recovery from the coronavirus pandemic.

The Federal lawmaker in a statement released on Thursday night, as reads in part, noted that as Muslim faithful worldwide undergo the โ€œspiritual purification of the annual Ramadan fast, against the background of the world challenges of fighting coronavirus disease. They should rededicate themselves to the virtues of the religion by praying fervently and giving alms to the needy.”

He seized the opportunity of the commencement of the Ramadan fast to reassure the good people of His federal Constituency that His stewardship will continue to work tirelessly so as to redefine leadership and make impacts that are poised to positively affect lives across the Constituency.

Halims further appealed to his constituents not to succumb to despair, but to maintain steadfast in the firm conviction that through collective effort, preventive measures and the prayers of all faith adherents, the world will overcome the pandemic cum economic retrogression caused by coronavirus.

While rounding up, he admonished well to do Muslims to engage in fuller measure of piety, tolerance, kind gestures, fairness and sympathy for the less privileged which the Holy month promotes.
