Ramadan: Andas Urges Muslims to Pray for Eradication of Covid-19 Pandemic

The Chairman of Kogi State House of Assembly Service Commission, Alhaji Andas Malik has called on Muslim faithfuls to use the Ramadan period to pray for the eradication of COVID-19 epidemic in Nigeria and the world.

Alhaji Andas made the call in  his message to Muslim faithfuls as they begin the Holy month of Ramadan.

He stated that Ramadan in the Muslim calendar is a month that is shrouded with mystery of the chaining of the devils and rendering them impotent.

According to him, with the spiritual powers conferred on the Holy month by the Almighty God and the unceasing prayers and fasting accompanying it, the much dreaded Coronavirus will be swept away completely from the planet, particularly Nigeria. 

Alhaji Andas expressed his believe in Allah’s grace and mercy that the much dreaded coronavirus will be a thing of the past in the country and Nigeria will come out better and stronger in all ramifications.

He commended Governor Yahaya Bello for his ingenuity in the handling of the fears of COVID-19 spread to the state.

Alhaji Andas described all measures adopted by the state government, in not inflicting unnecessary sufferings on the people through a total lockdown, as exemplary and worthy of emulation.

While wishing all Muslim faithfuls Happy Ramadan, he enjoined them to continue to support and pray for the success of the administration of Alhaji Yahaya Bello and not to relent in their daily supplications for total eradication of the Coronavirus in the country the entire world.
