The member representing Ankpa 2 constituency at the Kogi state house of assembly, Hon Alhaji Alfa Momoh Rabiu has been endorsed for a second term by the All Progressives Congress (APC) executives of Awo in Ojoku Ward district of Ankpa local government.
While citing reasons of endorsing him for a second term, the chairman noted that “Hon Rabiu Alfa having performed credibly well as evident in his physical infrastructure, human development, outspokenness in the house via quality motions and pro masses disposition cum his usual support to party activities within the period under review, there is no better way of saying thank you than to give him a second chance”.
In his response, Hon Alhaji Alfa Momoh Rabiu thanked the party executives for the honour done to him saying “when I got the invitation, all my expectations was a Christmas get together but here we are”. He thereafter vowed not to deter in his immediate assignment maintaining that only God gives power and so pleased for a continued support in a bid to end his present tenure well.
Present at the endorsement were his wife, Madam Lucia Rabiu, a former house of assembly aspirant, Hon Chief Wodi, ward executives, the women leader and the party ex officio.
Earlier in their separate remarks, the party and community leaders praised the stewardship of Hon Rabiu with their most reoccurring testimonies been centred on his developmental efforts and closeness to the grassroots which they all described as the benefit of electing a home-based politician from a reputable background.
