- Kogi gets PSN award 10 years after.
The Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN) has conferred its fellowship award on a former Kogi State Commissioner, Pharmacist Henry Ukwubile and 111 others.
Pharmacist Ukubile and other successful candidates were conferred with the highest award in the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN) at the 2022 investiture ceremony, alongside its new President, Prof Cyril Usifoh, at the Nicon Hilton, Abuja.
Ukwubile held a thanksgiving service to celebrate the award and thank God for his achievements at the Chapel of Freedom International Churches Lokoja.
According to him, his sacrifice and dedication over the years was responsible for the distinguished fellowship award to 112 Nigerians
In his remark, Pharmacist Ukubile, said his decision to hold the special thanksgiving service was borne out of his heartfelt appreciation to Almighty God for the elevation.
Speaking, the State Chairman of PSN, Dr Lawal Mohammed, noted that the state was getting another fellowship 10 years after.
He praised Pharmacist Ukubile for his contribution to the association in the state.
The General Overseer of Chapel of Freedom, Bishop John Ibenu, who is also the State CAN Chairman, called on all to emulate the dedication and hard work of Pharmacist Ukubile who he described as focused and committed.
The Society conferred its prestigious fellowship awards on 112 deserving pharmacists, who have distinguished themselves in their various areas of practice as well as overall contributions to advancement of the profession in Nigeria.
The fellowship award is the highest award of the society.
