Promise Kept as Senator Ogembe Begins Construction of 25 Motorised Boreholes Across Kogi Central

In fulfilment of his promise to ameliorate the suffering of his people, the senator representing Kogi Central Senatorial district, Ahmed Ogembe has commenced the construction of 25 motorised boreholes across Kogi central senatorial district.
This bold initiative was taken in addressing the perennial water challenges that has bedeviled the people across the five local government areas of his senatorial district for decades.
It will be recalled that Senator Ahmed Ogembe had in July 2016 identify water shortage as a major problem in Kogi central and promised to take urgent steps to address this challenges.
According to his media aide Opeyemi Duke, “Work is currently ongoing to install motorised boreholes at various locations across the senatorial district which include eight wards in Okene Local Government and six wards in Okehi LGA.
“Others include six locations in Adavi Local Government, three in Ajaokuta local Government, and two in Ogori/Magongo Local government” he said.
Details of the breakdown on where the boreholes are being constructed includes:
Okene Local Government
1. Idoji ward.
2. Otutu ward.
3. Onyukoko farm centre  (achoze).
4. Abuga-Ozuja.
5. Obehira-Ovute (Oro).
6. Obehira Eba.
7. Upogoro-Odenku.
8.Bariki ward
Okehi Local Government.
1. Obaroke (Around Take over place)
2. Old garage Ihima  (Front of Alh Adabara compound)
3. Obeiba (Front of Alh. Isah compound)
4. Okuhuwakpa, Obangede
5. Old soldier street,  Abobo ward
6.Front of Ibrahim Omonowo’s compound.
Adavi Local government
1. Kuroko 1, Ukuta
2. Adavi-Eba, Otutu Kashim .
3. Farm center ( Irepeni)
4. Alh Alhasan compound, Anyoke.
5. Inside Ebobogo market.
6. Inoziomi
Ajaokuta local Government.
1. Adogo
2. Ebira
3. Uptake.
Ogori/Magongo

While inspecting some of the projects over the weekend, Senator Ogembe promised to execute more viable projects that would bring succour to his constituents.
This gesture has received several applauds from the people of Kogi Central as many commended the senator for his bold move to address the challenges of water shortage which has bedevilled the area for decades.
The people promised to continue to support for the lofty ideas and programmes of the Senator which they said was geared towards the emancipation of the people of the area.
