Rector, Kogi State Polytechnic, Professor Salisu Ogbo Usman, has described the appointment of the State Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Abdullahi Bello, as the Chairman, Governing Board of Agricultural Research and Rural Management Training Institute, Ilorin, as well deserved.
In a statement issued in Lokoja on Wednesday, Prof. Usman congratulated the Kogi APC Chairman and said the appointment well deserved, considering Hon Abdullahi Bello (a.k.a Dollar)’s track record as a seasoned mobiliser and coordinator evident the huge successes recorded by the APC under his watch in Kogi State over the years.
“We are, therefore, proud of this appointment, and confident that you will use your vast network of contacts and experience to transform the Institute into a hub of Agricultural Research, not just in Nigeria, but the entire Sub-Sahara Africa.
“We wish to, therefore, profoundly appreciate President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for acknowledging your resourcefulness and wealth of experience in management as reflected in the latest appointment,” he said.
While wishing him a successful tenure as Chairman of the Governing Board of the Institute, Prof Usman prayed that God grants Hon. Abdullahi the health, strength and protection required to handle the assignment successfully.
