A starlwart of the All Progressives Congress from Omala local government area, Hon. Matthew Ochada (HMO) has welcomed the renewal of Prof. Salisu Usman Ogbo’s appointment as Rector of Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, describing it as a positive development for the institution.
Speaking to reporters in the state capital following the announcement, Hon. Ochada praised Prof. Ogbo’s transformative leadership since taking office. He highlighted the Rector’s numerous achievements, including tremendous infrastructure improvements, enhanced security measures, successful accreditation of long-stagnant programs, and implementation of administrative reforms.
“Since assumption of office as Rector of this citadel of learning, you have radically transformed the institution as reflected in massive infrastructure improvement, security of lives and properties, full accreditation of programmes stagnated for years, administrative reforms, restoration of discipline, general quality assurance, amongst others,” Ochada stated.
The political bigwit expressed his confidence in the decision, adding, “The renewal of your appointment is not a surprise to me. Thanks for making us proud always.”
This reappointment signals continued progress for Kogi State Polytechnic under Prof. Ogbo’s leadership, with expectations of further advancements in the coming years.
