Managing Director of Ajaokuta Steel Company Ltd, Prof. Abdusalam Nasir Naeem, has donated hospital equipment worth over three million Naira to the cottage hospital in Aiyegunle Gbedde, Ijumu local government area of Kogi state.
Receiving the equipment on Saturday, the Olu of Aiyegunle Gbedde, Chief Lateef Haruna, the Alafin 11, thanked and prayed for Prof. Naeem.
He monarch urged him and other individuals to continue in the development of the community.
Oba Lateef Haruna handed the equipment to the health committee of the community for onward presentation to the staff of the hospital.
An indigene of Aiyegunle Gbede community and Executive Director of Conscience for Human Rights and Conflicts Resolution (CHRCR), Comrade Idris Miliki Abdul, applauded Prof. Naeem for the generous donation.
He urged the cottage hospital to make good use of the equipment for the benefit of residents.
