Prince Elijah Ibinayin has doled out two hundred thousand Naira as palliative to students preparing to write West African Examination Council (WAEC) in Kabba Community Secondary School, Kakun.
Representatives of the Kabba Community High School Old Students Association presented the cash palliative to students in the school premises on Wednesday.
Prince Ibinayin, popularly known as Erukutu, explained that he is giving the students cash palliatives to ensure their basic needs, especially feeding, are met during the examination.
He also presented gifted teachers, PTA and NYSC corp members serving in the school cash support as well.
The school’s old student association representatives at the event include Mr. Joshua Alori, Dada David, Obadiah Philip, Pastor Dele Ajigi, Thomas Raphael, Hon Ayo Remix and Tunde Isah.
Speaking with Kogi Reports after the donation, a fellow alumnus of the school, Engr. Matthew Ajigi described Ibinayin as shinning light whose efforts should be commended by all.
Ajigi noted that the cash palliative came as a surprise to the students and teachers.
He stated that the N200,000 cash palliative by Ibinayin will go a long way in assisting the students before and during the examinations.
He explained that they graduated from Kabba Community High School Okedayo several years ago before the school was relocated to Kakun.
Ibinayin’s latest philanthropic gesture is coming seven months after he donated N325,000 to offset WAEC registration fees and administrative charges for all graduating students (SS3) in the school.
Prince Elijah Ibinayi graduated from Kabba Community High School Kakun (formerly in Okedayo) in 1990 before his sojourn for greener pastures in the United States of America.
