Prince Audu Should Quit Politics and Allow Vibrant Youths Take Over – Gov. Idris

Out-going governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris has said that it is time Ex-Governor Abubakar Audu quit politics and allow vibrant youths.

Governor Idris, speaking through his Director- General, Press, said that in 2003, he defeated Audu without making use of thugs, fake policemen and money as he was voted for because of his ideology.

He said in 2007 he defeated him again and when the court ordered for a re-election he still defeated him.

Idris said the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) governorship candidate had already lost out in Kogi State politics.

He said it was sad that Prince Audu was alleging that he the governor and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) want to rig the election with thugs and weapons.
