10 years after serving Kogi State as Governor, Prince Abubakar Audu, last night, was at a dinner at Government House, Lokoja to celebrate with Captain Idris Wada as he marks his second year in office.
The occasion was well attended by eminent personalities both with and outside the state.
Prince Audu while speaking at the occasion commended Captain Idris Wada for his tremendous effort in transforming the state.
He mentioned that since he left government, the state is just witnessing the reign of a focused and acceptable governor.
He urged the governor to remain focus and do his best for the state noting that as a former governor of the state, his dream was to see that the state is growing from strength to strength.
He advised Captain Idris Wada to continue to do more for the people so that when he leaves office his legacy will continue to speak for him.
He disclosed that Captain Idris Wada is his friend and he will continue to support his government adding that sentiment apart, Captain Idris Wada’s administration is working. He called on the people of the state to continue to support a government that brings dividend of democracy to the people.
