Primary Election: Gov Ododo’s Aide Congratulates Ijumu LG APC Candidates on Emergence

Personal Assistant to the Governor of Kogi State (Ministry of Education), Comrade Obafemi Rufus, has congratulated the Chairmanship candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ijumu local government area, Alhaji Ibrahim Haruna; Ileteju/Origa ward councillorship candidate, Hon. Olayinka Deji Joseph, and 14 other councillorship candidates who were affirmed at the party primary elections.

In his statement on Saturday, Comrade Rufus commended the candidates for their dedication to the party and their unwavering commitment to serving the people of Ijumu local government.

He emphasized that their affirmation is a testament to their team spirit and collective vision in moving the local government area forward under a united council.

He urged the candidates to remain focused on their goals and to prioritize the development of Ijumu local government above all else.

“It is important that you continue to work tirelessly for the progress and prosperity of our community,” Comrade Rufus said.

He also reminded them to reflect the good works of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo’s administration through their actions and decisions.

The candidates expressed their gratitude for the support they have received from Governor Ododo’s aide and promised to work diligently to fulfill the trust placed in them by the party and the people of Ijumu.
