President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has extended warm felicitations to renowned poet, journalist and editor, and erstwhile member of the Editorial Board of Daily Times, Chief Tunde Olusunle, on the occasion of his birthday.
In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, in Abuja on Monday, the President commended Olusunle for his exemplary contributions to Kogi State and to nation-building.
President Tinubu lauded Prof. Olusunle for his enterprise and robust, cerebral media engagement as a journalist and society watchdog.

He particularly noted Olusunle’s prolific creative writing and editing, as well as his involvement in over a dozen books in the last four years.
While saluting Olusunle’s mentorship of younger, emerging writers and journalists, President Tinubu prayed for Olusunle’s good health and increased wisdom.
Olusunle served three governors in Kogi State in information and media management positions between 1992 and 1998. He also served as a presidential aide between 1999 and 2007.
He is currently an Adjunct Professor of Creative Writing at the University of Abuja.
