Efforts to document and promote the language through lexical resources such as dictionaries, and language learning materials are underway.

The use of euphemisms in the Igala language is also being explored as a means of promoting, polite expression, and cultural sensitivity.

Cultural practices.

The Igala people have a deep connections to their traditional practices which are rooted in their spirituality and community.

Efforts to preserve these practices include documenting and promoting traditional stories, such as The Tale of The Toad Beating the Hertebeest.

Cultural event and festivals are also being organized to promote Igala culture and traditions.

The Igala people have traditional knowledge that has been passed down through generations, including knowledge of medicine, agriculture and craftmanship.

Efforts to document and preserve this knowledge are essentials for ensuring ,its continuation and promoting cultural sustainability.

Organization such as kigala are working to preserve the Igala legacy through various initiatives including language documentation, cultural promotion and Education, awareness and appreciation and recently is the Afrikae language and cultural Education center both within Igala community and beyond, let support them to ensure the continuation of Igala culture and traditions is promoted to a deeper understanding and appreciation of this rich and vibrant heritage.
