CONGRATULATORY MESSAGE
The entire Executives and members of Kogi Youth Power Shift (KYPS) heartily congratulate you on your inauguration as the Executive Governor of Kogi State. All was a true reflection of peoples love for you having examined your past, personal and official records that manifested divinely. We rejoice with you about the implicit confidence the Ebira Nation and Kogi State at large have in you as their God sent trustworthy leader.
By clarification, the maxim Power Shift has indeed generated a high temperature reflecting on various interpretations that might have been attached to it. However, Power Shift at our End signifies for Equity, Justice and Fairness. It is a shift from immoral hands to the appropriate hands; it is a shift from Bad Governance to Good Governance; a shift from underdeveloped to developed state; a shift from corruption to forthrightness; and a shift from tribal specificity. Hence, these interpretations are a true sense of your Manifestoes your Excellency, which is plainspoken for anyone who has goodwill for his fatherland.
Albeit we have tried but could not meet with you, except during APC Primary that we met with some of your Executives, KYPS right from the onset wholeheartedly identified and supported you because of your patriotic ideals, unbridled commitment to legacy and doggedness to build a long lasting world class Kogi State.
We as part of this epoch victory also believe that the sinking Kogi-Nigerians ship would be piloted to a safe shore; internal and external security, egalitarian life and robust economy would be guaranteed. In the wake of this historic event and all that the future will bring, Kogi-Nigerians hope that justice and a bright future will be ahead for all Kogites, corruption and blackouts after many years caused by mismanagement of treasury funds will be reverted to positive change. The genocide, act of terror and destruction brought to our homeland by faceless human beings will be dealt with.
While the task and plight ahead of you will be hectic, we wish you luck and success, and extend our sincere support to your administration in bringing peace, democratic, political and economic reforms to Kogi State; Kogi Youths and the Change agents in the diaspora as well as the rest of the world.
KYPS looks forward to opening a dialog with your administration and hopes to be a resource for you if at any time we may assist. We are overwhelmingly excited about the change that is forthcoming.
