The Social Democratic Party, Kogi state chapter has adopted President Muhammadu Buhari as its sole Presidential candidate in the Saturday general election.
This was contained in statement signed by the Acting Chairman of the Party in the state, Alhaji Muhammed Muktar Atimah which was made available to newsmen in Lokoja today.
According to the statement, the decision followed a resolution reached by the party at the last week National Executive Council meeting in Abuja, where the party unanimously resolved to adopt the President Buhari as her candidate.
The Acting Chairman, therefore, directed members of the party in Kogi state, local government and at wards level to come out in their large number to vote President Muhammadu Buhari at the poll with a view to give him a resounding victory.
