Police Commissioner Seeks Stronger Operational Partnership With Kogi Vigilante Service

Kogi State Commissioner of Police, CP Miller Dantawaye, has called for a strengthened operational partnership between the Kogi State Police Command and the Kogi State Vigilante Service (KSVS).

During a meeting held at the Police Command headquarters in Lokoja, CP Dantawaye commended the Comptroller-General of the KSVS, Cdr. A.M. Adinoyi (Rtd.) for the outstanding efforts of the vigilante service in combating crime across the state.

He acknowledged KSVS’s notable achievements in tackling insecurity and assured them of his readiness to collaborate.

He recognized the Kogi State Vigilante Service as a legally backed local security outfit with a strong track record.

The Commissioner urged professional hunters and other local security groups to join forces with the KSVS for a unified approach to crime fighting.

To enhance security coordination, CP Dantawaye proposed the establishment of a monthly security conference, bringing together all security agencies to deliberate on security challenges and strategies for safeguarding the state.
