The national umbrella for former and serving Public Office Holders Association of Nigeria (POHAN) has on behalf of Nigerian public office holders has congratulated Dr. Akinwumi Adesina the newly elected President of African Development Bank (AfDB) on his re-election.
Dr. Adesina who was the former Nigerian minister of agriculture won re-election to serve a second term in the Presidency of the bank.
In a statement released in Lokoja the Kogi State Capital by the National President of POHAN, Bashorun MD Eseyin
Eseyin, said his re-election was an attestation of a great value and impact he added to the bank.
“Dr. Adesina is a symbol of a patriotic public rervant, no wonder his re-election has attracted praises within and outside the country,” he concluded
The body while wishing Adesina an eventful second tenure in office also seek for a mutually beneficial collaboration with the bank.
