Protocol Officers and Event Planners Association of Nigeria (POEPAN) has inaugurated its national executives for smooth running of the association.
The inauguration of the executive members of the association led by its National President, Prince Abubakar Zakari took place at the National Merit House Abuja.
The association equally used the occasion of the inauguration of the executives to unveil its code of conduct for all members of the association.
The event which was first of its kind gave members of the association ample opportunity to chart a new course for the development of the association.
According to the National President of the association, “POEPAN is an association of protocol professionals consisting civil servants and public servant from federal, states, local government and all government related agencies of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.”
The vision of the association, he said, is “to promote the professional advancement of protocol, event and logistics striving to focus on international standard”.
Speaking further, Prince Zakari maintained that the mission of the association is to “act with dedication, advancing professionalism decisively with time so as to ensure accomplishments among professional members”.
