In the change Nigerians dreamt
Pushing the wall of corruption apart
Securing their remaining Chibok Girls
Hoping for the call of Ralph not Jack

No smooth sailing to the new Nigeria
Though millions shouted for the change
But few voice were heard, only God!
I salutes the angry patient youths

Nigerians has thrown the dark wood
Bringing the brave old youth
Who honesty has sworn to kill
And discipline has vouched to murder

I raise my voice saying;
When the dust came after the wind;
Nigerians came sweeping with bunch of broom
I am glad to be among the sweepers for change

Nigerians’ stars has rised open day
The wool of deception has left their face
Unity and togetherness has tried their mind
Gen. Muhammadu Buhari has hacked their hearts

Now that the virgin moon has set;
And the waves of change has come;
Forgive the prodigal son to ease his sins
Please dishonoured Nigeria check of penury
Verily! Virgin future is awake
