It has come to the notice of the good people of Kogi west senatorial district the purported plan of some desperate and frustrated group of political shenanigans to scam eligible and registered voters from exercising their constitutional right to vote. We are aware of their plan to initiate a fraudulent recall process against the people’s Senator, senator Smart Adeyemi.
This is a desperate show of cowardice, frustration and helplessness.
We wish to therefore bring to the notice of the public to disregard and help condemn this scam being perpetrated by our common enemies. The general public will have to be conscious of any circulating document or register seeking to secure the signatures and profiles of register voters across Kogi west senatorial district and disregard such or report to the appropriate quarters.
This is a political scam to invalidate votes and thereafter disenfranchise voters during coming elections. The people should be aware that their voter cards remain the only gateway to voting the right person into power during elections and should therefore ensure its under protection.
The people’s Senator, Senator Smart Ajanaku Adeyemi has justified the confidence reposed on him and so deserve commendation and support for continuity in office. Its indeed an exercise in futility to think of initiating a recall process against somebody who has put smiles on many faces, build hospitals and health centres, purchased highly sophisticated medical equipment for use for these hospitals and health centres, initiated a transport scheme projects and several youths empowerment programs geared towards creating employment opportunities. Its in actual sense a scam to doctored people’s voters card to rig election and name it initiating a recall process.
It will definitely be a collosal failure to think the good people of Kogi west will be cowed into being a victims of electoral fraud. It is not because Senator Smart Adeyemi is giving jobs to the jobless and building hospitals as its part of the dividends of democracy promised under the Transformation Agenda, but it is fulfilling the promise, it is doing the right thing at the right time, it is doing the wish of the constituents.
Again, if Smart Adeyemi is doing the same miracle along Obajana/Kabba/Ilorin road then he deserved our votes, support and prayers for continuity. Protect your voters card, protect your vote.
