The second phase Buba Jibril Medical Outreach is ongoing in Lokoja and Kogi (Koton Karfe) local government areas. The 3-day program started yesterday with about 800 beneficiaries.
Today, about 1,000 persons were attended to by medical professionals – doctors, pharmacists and nurses. The medical personnel start attending to patients from 8am to 5pm daily at the Children Amusement park in Lokoja, the Kogi state capital.
Free eye glasses and drugs were given to beneficiaries while others are booked for free eye and other surgeries.
