The PDP Youth Leader, Hon. Emmanuel Oluwakayode Eseyin (K-12), has described the ongoing fight against agents of insecurity across Okun land as laudable, courageous, and bold.
In a statement issued on Friday, the PDP Youth Leader noted that the recent raids, rapid response operations, and successful rescue of kidnapped victims in Odo-Ape and other parts of Bunu Land in Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area are highly commendable.
He also commended the State Security Adviser, Commander Jerry Omodara, for coordinating the onslaught against bandits in the state.

“The joint security operations involving the Nigerian Air Force, the Military, the State Security Service (SSS), the Police, Vigilante groups, and local hunters were diligently coordinated by Commodore Jerry Omodara, the Special Adviser on Security to Governor Alhaji Usman Ododo.
“Undoubtedly, these operations once again demonstrate that Kogi State has zero tolerance for criminal activities and is committed to flushing out criminal elements, thereby ensuring that our people can sleep peacefully,” he said.
The PDP Youth Leader appealed to Governor Usman Ododo to extend these raids and rapid response measures to other parts of Bunu Land, to ensure that no part of Bunu Land or the wider Okun Nation remains under the influence or control of criminal elements.
“It is also noteworthy to commend the Governor for the establishment of a Forward Operating Base for the Nigerian Army at Iluke Bunu. This strategic move will significantly enhance and sustain the security situation in Bunu Land and the Okun Nation at large,” Eseyin noted.
He called on the good people of Okun Land to continue supporting Governor Usman Ododo in his determined fight against insecurity.
