Congratulatory Message To Captain Idris Ichalla Wada On His Victory At The Primary Election Polls.
I convey my hearty congratulations to the Kogi State governor, Capt Idris Ichalla Wada on his landslide victory recorded in the just concluded election.
This is just the beginning. The PDP primaries have come and gone, but the ultimate is ahead of us. For now, let me say it is not time for jubilation because that will be hasty. We still have a long way to go and many rivers to cross. The ball is no longer in our court. It is no longer in the court of the delegates; the ball has gone to the court of the electorate. We will now go back to the people who will decide in their numbers.
I am very confident that you will provide the needed leadership to turn the state around and as a loyal, committed and dedicated party man, I pledge my commitment to the Party, and to campaign vigorously for our candidate, Captain Idris Wada to ensure victory in the 2015 elections.
I know that supporters of other camps are disappointed. But our disappointment must be overcome by our love of our people. I therefore call on all other contestants and to unite and to ensure that PDP emerge Victory at the poll comes 2015.
I call on all other contestants and our party’s rank and file to unite behind our candidates to ensure that the APC is defeated.
