PDP Holds Zonal Executive, Kogi East Stakeholders Meeting, Calls for Massive Mobilization

Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has charged members to commence massive mobilization of old and new party members across Kogi East senatorial district.

This was part of the decisions reached at the stakeholders meeting convened by Kogi East Zonal Executive Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Saturday at the Anyigba Motel, Anyigba, Dekina local government area.

The meeting had in attendance critical stakeholders of the party from Kogi East.

The Kogi East Zonal Chairman, Hon Igagu Idris, welcomed the attendees with a charge to be committed to the tenets of the party and upholding the fundamental principles of PDP.

He paid tribute to all those who remained steadfast despite the turbulence that the party went through.

The Zonal Chairman urged members to have unity of purpose. He enjoined those who have left the party to come back as the party’s fortune has changed for good.

Other speakers at the expanded stakeholders engagement were Chief John Odawn, one time State Chairman of the Party; Barr. Humphrey Abah, former Minister of Police Affairs; Barr. Kabiru Usman, former North Central Legal Adviser of the Party; Engr John Ibrahim, a chieftain of the party; Hon Ben Ikani, former member of the House of Representatives and many others.

The meeting attracted officials of the Party from Kogi East , women and youth groups, and many stakeholders.

Other activities include the setting up of the reconciliatory committee headed by Hon Ben Ikani and Smaila Aruwa as Secretary.
