The Otafun Amuro Development Association on Wednesday paid a courtesy visit to the Kogi State Commissioner for Information and Communications, Hon. Kingsley Fanwo.
Led by the President of the Association, Pastor Obadiah Obadofin, and Elder Samuel Obafemi, the delegation commiserated with Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo over the demise of his father.
They also highlighted some of the challenges facing their community during a fruitful discussion with the Commissioner.
In his response, Hon. Fanwo thanked the delegation for their support to the Governor, noting that as a devout Muslim, Governor Ododo has accepted the will of Almighty Allah. He said the Governor remains in high spirits as glowing tributes continue to pour in about the life and deeds of the late Alhaji Ahmed Momohsani Ododo.
The Commissioner assured the association of his continued contribution to the development of the community and urged residents to remain peaceful and security conscious.
He also called on Community Development Associations to play greater roles in enhancing security and mobilizing their people to register as voters, stressing that the strength of every citizen lies in their vote.

“I am aware that the State Government is upgrading your Primary Healthcare Centre. Please monitor the progress and protect it against vandalism. Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo is determined to touch every community, but we must also be prepared to make the best of his good work,” he said.
