Osaseyi Foundation Pays School Fees of 765 Students in Okoro Gbede

Chairman of the Osaseyi Foundation, Mr. Richard Osaseyi has once again put smiles on the faces of numerous families in his Okoro-Gbede country home, Ijumu Local Government Area of Kogi state.

Following the payment of school fees of every child in his community for the third academic session, Mr Richard Osaseyi further reiterated his commitment towards ensuing that under his watch, every child in Okoro-Gbede and environs receives quality education. 

This has been the usual practice of the Kogi born philanthropist for several years to keep children in school, thereby bringing untold relief to these children and their families.

Interestingly, other communities and neighbouring villages has benefitted from the Foundation’s scholarship schemes.

The population of the students who attend public schools in Okoro-Gbede comprise of Bassa, Tiv, Ebira, Nupe, speaking tribes resident in Okoro Gbede.

Mr. Richard Osaseyi is the pioneer General Manager of the Kogi State Signage and Advertisement Agency (KOSSA)

Hon. Osaseyi in his bid to ensure quality education for the students took it a step further by collaborating with the management of Okoro-Gbede High School to employ five PTA teachers in order to improve the learning experience of the students. He has taken it upon himself to pay these teachers monthly stipends to compliment their efforts as they go about discharging their duties.

The beneficiaries of the scholarship scheme included: ILGEA School 1, Okoro Gbede, ILGEA School 2, Okoro Gbede; UBE JSS Okoro Gbede, and Okoro Gbede Hogh School.

The total number of students that benefitted from this edition of school fees payment stands at 765. It is also worthy of note that Mr Richard Osaseyi has contributed immensely to the growth and development of several communities in his locality.
