The political intrigues and interest of many politicians in the local government stands to be nothing than a mere political propaganda, where at many stance the most of the elites in the local government seems to be in strong support of the leadership style Of Hon Shiru Lawal, haven proved himself to be a success and achiever personify administrator in less than two years.
In politics constructive criticism and meaningful propaganda is allow for the sole aim to check mate the government or those on authority, but at many times the purpose is being abused to the purview of hatreds,brewing political enmity in the basis of sentiments (political Interest).
But the last Leadership Award of excellence and praise of encomium bestowed on the administrator has a much proving reason that the entire Lokoja people are supporting the pragmatic leadership of the Governor and the Administrator.
The Men of timber and calibre that made up the Lokoja always tell the world that Lokoja is one, peaceful, and united under a common goal not as the sounds of political winds blowing the “cacophony” noise of distractions. with hundreds of supporters,agreeing with the leadership style of Shiru.
No doubt, Hon Shiru has made clear his loyalty to no one but Governor Yahaya Bello and the people whose trust and support earned him the high office he occupies to the detriment and chagrin of the so-called self acclaimed team who wanted to hit the polity with there deluded followers. Shiru has initiated projects that the people can see, feel and identify with.
Of course, only leaders of immense courage, foresight and integrity can successfully undertake the big task of rebuilding a local government that has lost touch with quality leadership for a very long time. Standing out as a better alternative is not a piecemeal. Being a man who has great dreams for his people, he insists excellent leadership is what the good people of Lokoja local government deserve.
Today, the ‘’Pearl of Tourism’’ is going through social, political, economic and infrastructural transformation that has drawn interests not only within the region, but in the country and around the world. The determination of Hon Shiru Lawal to deliver good governance to his people is evident in all critical sectors of the local government; infrastructure, healthcare, education, water provision, agriculture, manpower development and women and youth empowerment are receiving sustained attention. No wonder commentators of high integrity have a consensus that Lokoja is returning to its place of pride. Therefore, much of the attention and acclamation that Lokoja local government is receiving right now are express indication that someone who knows his job is behind the wheel.
Last week was on point to say Lokoja was in another page of history, for the first time all sons and daughters of the land come together for a common reason in Danko fishing festival despite One’s party affiliation, despite their religion tribe and political beliefs,to them : ” we identify with Shiru and his government.
No Wonder ,the tenacity,zest and audacity in the working administrator is without measures and limitless. It’s because the Lokoja people are really behind him,tapping his back for an encouraging to carry on. It’s good to say the political noise making of others is a mere “cacophony” (distractions) which he does not want to give it an attention to divert him from the main work that he has started, vowed to change Lokoja local government for good, adamant to rewrite the history of the local government and to give it a new name.
Indeed it does not really matter what political pundits are all saying what and what not,all it matters, step by step, one thing at a time Hon Shiru is committed to steadily remake,rename and rebuild the local government. Redesign its beautiful look to the eyes of the world.

With 2019 general elections coming nearer, we are not unaware of tricks and machinations by some politicians whom were part of the government that ruins Lokoja local government some years back and denied us good governance and our rights to bamboozle us and distract people’s attention from the progress and development going on in the local government.
It’s pity for them that someone is doing what they have failed to do, someone is making history they have failed to make and to us in Lokoja, continuity is what is subscribed to. Therefore, Gov Yahaya Bello and Hon Shiru Lawal will get our mandate by 2019.
