In the wisdom of a great philosopher and writer, Dale Carnegie-“There are four ways, and only four ways, in which we have contact with the world. We are evaluated and classified by these four contacts: what we do, how we look, what we say, and how we say it.” In trying to understand this premise, the member representing Ankpa 2 constituency at the Kogi state house of assembly member, Hon Alfa Mommoh Rabiu shall not only perfect his existence but pose a mirror image of true parliamentarian.

In the case of Hon Rabiu Alfa, I will like to take it one after the other for clarity purposes and better comprehension. More so that he finds himself in a situation where he must learn how to live and act freely to a population and at the same time develop a private low profile at his discretion. This is without any ambiguity not anchored on self egoism but the conservative demand of playing active politics. Whatever be the case, let’s figure out an understanding of him based on the above mentioned premise.

-WHAT WE DO:
By immediate engagement, Hon Alfa Mommoh Rabiu is the honorable member representing Ankpa 2 constituency at the Kogi state house of assembly member and amidst the limited resources cum dynamics of the Kogi state sixth assembly from commencement till date, he has thus far justified his mandate via evenly spreading projects across the eight wards that make up Ankpa 2 constituency. This projects include;

-Enjema Ward 1: Construction of bore hole at Enjema

-Enjema Ward 2: Building of Open market shops at Ofugo

-Enjema Ward 3: Renovation of class room blocks at Inye

-Enjema Ward 4: Renovation of primary school blocks at LGEA Anyitata. And for Ojoku wards;

-Ojoku Ward 1: Building of Open Market shop at central market Ojoku agbodo

-Ojoku Ward 2: Fencing and erosion control at Okaba Primary school

-Ojoku Ward 3: Building of Open market shops at Inyologu and

-Ojoku Ward 4: Building of open market shops at Ukwo doko market.

-HOW WE LOOK:
While many may have different perception about Hon Alfa Mommoh Rabiu, his accurate look is unarguably his infectious smile characterised with vigour and charisma apt enough to accommodate his likes minds, scary enough to resist a snitch and fiercely inclined to intimidate an opposition. In spite of all these endowments, the ebullient honorable can be very unpredictable to a goal digger and hence, the disappointing adornment that naysayers builds upon.

-WHAT WE SAY:
In the area of speech, Hon Rabiu Alfa is one of the few politicians whom are yet to attain their prime but commands speech with suavity and wisdom, perhaps due to lessons learnt from his father and political leader, Alhaji Isiaka Alfa (Waaali) and late Prince Abubakar Audu. The duo whom are unarguably Igala and Kogis finest politicians while in their prime. To buttress, Hon Rabiu says what he has done and never speak much on what he shall be doing, a trait that has over the years earned him admiration and reputation if truth. Without word mincing, he says what he has done and conceals what he shall do.

-HOW WE SAY IT:
Hon Alfa Mommoh Rabiu speaks with humility and submission to reality but has no record of undoing the truth. He could be mean to a fault and blunt to the latter. Irrespective of whose ox is in contention, the conservative politician prefers to call a spade it’s name than passing through the stress of describing it as a wide spoon.

Finally, understanding Hon Alfa Mommoh Rabiu is like understanding every other person. All that is needed is a positive mind attitude toward the four theory guidelines by Dale Carnegie in relation to its physical manifestation in an individual. Nonetheless, been that conformity is the jailer of freedom and enemy of growth, Hon Rabiu Alfa can only be a cynosure and not necessarily a specimen for imitation for the uniqueness of humanity is our individual differences.
