Political foxes are real. They are regrettably in their abundance in Kogi State. This includes autochthonous little foxes and alien little foxes. These all besieged the political sphere of Kogi State. They have inflicted pains in the State in no small way, causing afflictions to the helpless inhabitants of the State. The ancient and great wise king, king Solomon aptly put their despicable acts in this saying, “The little foxes that are ruining the vineyards, While our vineyards are in blossom.” (Songs of Solomon 2:15).
Their macabre dance raised disturbing dusts on the polity of the State when they had their rude shock as a result of mandate of the chosen one to tend the vine of the State. Since then, neither the chosen Governor nor the expectant populace find it easy to breath the free fresh air given to us by God.
As little as these foxes are, they fight dirty with a dark intent to sabotage the good intention and work of Governor Yahaya Bello. If not God that is on his side, the little foxes would have succeeded in bringing the State to her kneel.
The little foxes hate anything in support of the present government. They hate the law and they strive to bring the judiciary to disrepute, just because they are impotent to manipulate the temple of justice.
They may be little foxes but they have their minions and the advocates who spread their lies. Now, looking at their imminent defeat at the Supreme Court, they have sent their foot soldier to cause disaffection among the people and at same time maliciously blackmail the judiciary.
May all ye men know that, the opposition against Governor Yahaya Bello, seek to corrupt the sanctity of the judiciary and in the same token subvert the will and sensitivity of the people of Kogi State. This will not be allowed to happen.
The judiciary as a bacon of hope will once again send out the little foxes from Kogi State politics as the sanctity of the law is upheld and give justice and consolidation for Governor Yahaya Bello’s mandate.
