Opinion: Shiru Lawal As a Pacesetter and Messiah

The Administrator of Lokoja Local Government Area, Hon Shiru Lawal, since he assumed office has bring to the position composite experience in the academia banking and public sector. Given his rich tapestry of experience and high calibre training, Shiru’s compelling focus on high-performance and his unwavering desire to develop Lokoja
Local Government is enviable.
The administrator’s track record of achievements has established him as an expert in public sector finance, strategic planning and optimal utilization of resources.
Hon. Lawal Shiru has been providing a good leadership by example his good governance and exemplary leadership style which is fully of competency, hard work, tolerance, statesmanship, selfless devotion, diligent, humble focus, determination, comprehension, a sense of fairness, brilliant among many,has earned him the leadership status he
now enjoys.
When Shiru became the Administrator of Lokoja Local Government Area, he put the local government on the path to rapid socio-economic development, as Lokoja was known and his good governance turned the local government  to one of the front line local government in the country.
Lokoja local government under Shiru, has now been placed  by many projects and infrastructure facilities which his administration has done.
The banker turned politician, Hon Lawal’s good works have  brought lots of change to our dearly local government area, which has earned the good will of Lokojans especially youths through his good work, commitment to the welfare of the people.
Above all, Shiru has displayed rare wisdom in handling political affairs of the local government.
I therefore call on all Lokojans to rally round of Hon Lawal Shiru leadership and ignore the activities of such undemocratic elements that uses every means to undermine the good work of Hon Lawal.
While I also call our people on the need to rally round Hon Lawal Shiru and the present leadership of Gov. Yahaya Bello. No doubt, it is only someone who has a deep knowledge of administration, who understands the vision and dynamics, who has engaged with the complex challenged of implementing key projects that can appreciate the
administrator because he is an astute manager of human and materials resources.
Sequel to his laudable and remarkable achievements, he is an unassuming personality who derived joy and pleasure in putting  smiles in the face of people by using his position as veritable vehicles to contribute to the social well- being of the people.
Achievements of Lawal Shiru’s administration several life-transforming programmes such as the under listed programmes were successfully carried out and paid for while some are on going: – completion of primary health care centre, Renovation of local government modern primary school at Cantonment, renovation of cottage hospital at
Kungbani on going, planning on going for the construction of leprosy and TB control programme at the local government. Under his watch he is already trying its possible best to get counterpart cash contribution from the state government sustained payment of CONHESS salary structure to medical and health workers of the rural areas.
The peoples Administrator is much concerned about the health status and well being of is people.
His administration has introduced number of people oriented programmes and projects designed to drive the local government forward economically and socially.
The administrator has concluded arrangement to equip four mega schools  in lokoja to bring the standard of education in secondary schools in line with global standards. He has equally rehabilitated 6 classrooms.
Also, the present administration has equally sunk 10 motorize boreholes across the local government. Similarly, another facet of this sphere is provision of portable water which is aimed at making life more meaningful for the people through the implementation of Lokoja.
