Why are you calling the People’s Governor as adolescent governor and yet you are looking for peace.  You said only the national assembly can make law.  Then let the national assembly pay the salaries and other obligation of Kogi State University (KSU) lecturers.
In 1993, when Professor Attahiru Jega was the National President of ASUU,  the union was proscribed by the then Minister of Education, Late M. T. Liman which made ASUU to form another umbrella union called Association of University Teachers, AUT, after going to Industrial Court and lost the case.
ASUU was also proscribed during the reign of Professor Jubrin Aminu as Minister of Education. In 1974, it is also on record that the University lecturers for the first time were sacked and subsequently replaced by Gowon leadership.
So, the ASUU leaders of today should stop opening eyes and talking as if they have the monopoly of history and knowledge.  They should stop claiming unnecessary right because he who pays the piper dictates the tone.  They can only appeal to the cooperation and understanding of the Kogi State Government to rescind its decision and not to be talking as if they are the one that pays ASUU members their salary please.
Since Kogi State was created in 1991, all the civilian leaders have had their own form of recklessness for one reason or the other and heaven did not fall.  The late Abubakar Audu,  Alhaji Ibrahim Idris and Idris Wada all had their one form of restlessness or the other.  Gov. Yahaya Bello cannot be an exception. The only difference is that Yahaya Bello is the youngest among them and people are treating him based on his young age.
Is it not the same KSU where financial rip-off in the sum of over eight billion Naira was unearthed?  Why are people not talking about this corrupt practice by few elements in the state? This amount alone would have been enough to settle workers’ salary but it went into the throat of one or two person. Yet, ASUU did not care about this unfortunate development.
The proscribed union is not bothered about the six months our children were forced to stay at home and the same lecturers who perpetuated this crime are claiming holier than thou.
Is this what it should be?  A S U U!!!!
